imusiccd will allow 4 non-public domain songs for use in the Elementary Music CD Fundraiser and the Recording & CD Package. All other song selections must be either in the Public Domain or from Music K-8 aka Plank Road Publishing.

Please keep in mind that most songs that are Traditional, Folk Songs, Patriotic, etc. are in the public domain. This new policy started since many publishing companies and the Harry Fox Agency now charge a per song administration fee in addition to the standard mechanical license fee of 9.1 cent per song per unit manufactured, which can no longer be absorbed by imusiccd.com.

Disney Music: We can no longer license music from the Walt Disney Music Publishing Company. Their minimum requirement is much too large to license and therefore we ask that you refrain from using their compositions.

To aid you in your selections, please use PDINFO.COM as a reference. This site will list most songs in the public domain.
